The British wedding awards 2015

So last friday was the first "The British Wedding awards 2015" held at The Tower hotel, London. If you didn't know, we we're up for our first ever award under the "Special touches" catagory.

From the moment we touched down at the hotel we we're looked after so well with a free upgrade to a Tower Bridge view room and free mini bar! oooohhh.
We got our glad rags on and hit the award ceremony, nervous and very excited all at the same time.
The pre drink reception was fab, we we're treated like mini wedding celebritys with free champagne and our photos taken by the events paparazzi, with a harpest playing and beautiful decorations everywhere, the room was a buzz with people. At 7pm we sat down for our evening meal. We we're lucky enough to have two amazing magicians on our table. The fantastic Nicolas Clement (Who we think looked like an older justin Timberlake he he) and the wonderful Etienne Pradier. They kept us entertained with their blow you away tricks. We also enjoyed the company of the lovely Kirstie Taylor and Shelley Carter-Bright from the companies Kitty and Dulcie and Flo & Percy who make fabulous hand made accessories.
The awards started and we were very excited. Unfortunately we didnt win, boooo! We missed out to the amazing Giggle Booth who we're very worthy winners!! After the award ceremony we we're treated to a live band, cocktail bar, photo booths and amazing Ice cream yum yum!

The party went on till after 12am and we had the most amazing experience, getting our company this far means so much and its a great start to 2015 for us, what else could the year bring!

Now as I am a London virgin, the lovley Hollie gave me a day to remember before we set back off to Yorkshire. I can now say I've been on the underground, watched street entertainment in Covent Gardens, walked through Trifalgar square, visited the Queen in Buckingham Palace (Ok I didnt see her but her flag was up and blowing away) and was treated to dinner in Harrods.

In a nut shell, this weekend was both amazing and inspirational. Thank you to everyone at The British Wedding awards and wedding Ideas magazine for putting on such a good show, Thank you to Hollie for braving the London traffic (Oh my Lord!) and giving me a day to remember and lastly thank you to all our past customers for making all this possible, without your votes we never would have got this far, you truly do make this company what it is!
